![]() One of my partners picked up a Touch Gold broodmare in foal to Milwaukee Brew (hip 752). Guess the idea is to bring her to NY, and then breed her back to a NY stallion next year, which under the rules, would make this year's foal a NY bred.
She's fairly young, unraced, and aborted last year, and MB's first crop are 2yo's this year. Red flags all over the place. On the positive side, he paid 11k for her, and MB's stud fee is 10k. If his first crop turns out to have a decent 2yo campaign, the yearling will fetch a premium at the Saratoga sale being a NY bred from a sought after stallion. |

![]() The mare I thought looked interesting Mustique #1111 sired by Strawberry Road did not sale. I think they wanted $7,500 for her if I read the sheet correctly. Is that a lot? I guess she is too much of a known quanity
Hey, if she was popping out Grade 1 winners left n right she wouldn't be for sale. Looks like the SAARLAND horse was withdrawn. To bad I'm sure he has great potential
