Looking at this field, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Practical Move here instead of going in the Dirt Mile. Since the trainer may send Echo Zulu in the Sprint, that might push Gunite to the Dirt Mile. If that’s the case, Gunite and Cody’s Wish might be tougher to beat at 8f than anything that’s going in the Classic.

Your trolling is getting better and better! I actually thought this was serious for a minute. Fine work.

To be fair what you said made no sense. Not sure if you saw Gunite get beat fairly easily by the mighty Nimitz Class last time at 1/5 but I don’t think anyone is afraid of running against him going a two turn mile. I also don’t think Cody’s Wish is scaring anyone away. His last two were not his usual runs and again, two turns doesn’t seem like his best.

Practical Move actually has a shot in the dirt mile. He has no shot in the Classic.

I was being nice. What he posted was so bad it had to be trolling. I still believe it was...intentional or not.

Champion winner King of Steel will be pre-entered for BC Turf, Classic
Steve Andersen | Oct 23, 2023

King of Steel earned a fees-paid berth to the $4 million Breeders’ Cup Turf at Santa Anita on Nov. 4 with a win in Saturday’s Group 1 Champion Stakes at Ascot Racecourse in Great Britain, but the Kentucky-bred colt’s participation in the richest turf race in the United States will not be determined until later this week, trainer Roger Varian said Monday.

Varian said King of Steel was pre-entered on Monday in the Turf and BC Classic at 1 1/4 miles on dirt as a second option. King of Steel has never raced on dirt in his seven-race career.

“The Turf is our priority,” he said. Varian said he plans to assess King of Steel’s condition in coming days before deciding whether the colt will be flown to California next weekend.

“We’ll make a decision later in the week,” he said. “It’s too soon. That’s the reason we can’t answer any questions seriously.”
