Obviously a wagering entity is going to want to know you Social Security Number. BRISnet will allow you to join from any state, whereas BRISbet will not allow you to join if your state does not permit phone/internet wagering.

Skippy, it's not at all obvious to me why they need my SS#. Nobody asks for my SS# if I go to the window to make a bet at the track. If I got a huge payoff, THEN they could ask for my SS#.

Also, it's not just the SS# that bothers me. Why do they ALSO need my mother's maiden name AND a credit card WITH the extra cc security code? I'm surprised they didn't ask for a dental imprint.
