There is a memorable line from the movie "The Magnificent Seven" in which the Steve McQueen character responds to a similar question by saying, "It seemed like a good idea at the time." Ruffian assuming that's not a rhetorical question, I could answer in so many different ways but here's the best answer I could think of: for the same reason as to "why does the sun rise in the east and set in the west". Take care and stay warm, spring is not here yet.
