There is a memorable line from the movie "The Magnificent Seven" in which the Steve McQueen character responds to a similar question by saying, "It seemed like a good idea at the time." That could be a perfectly adequate answer here as well. I'd rather say, "Great choice Don and congrats on your points win." and move on.

By the way, just down the road from Tampa Bay Downs, MBL is commencing spring training as the strike/lockout finally comes to an end and baseball begins.:)

Ruffian assuming that's not a rhetorical question, I could answer in so many different ways but here's the best answer I could think of: for the same reason as to "why does the sun rise in the east and set in the west". Take care and stay warm, spring is not here yet.

And yes, JB the spoiled brats who "play" MLB, get to line their wallets with a little more cash. This is one reason College Sports is tops on my list.

Not for nothing, does anyone else think that the morning line for Race 10 is way out of line - I can't believe that there will be 6 runners with odds that are squeezed between 7-2 and 5-1. It will be interesting to look at the chart and see how it really shakes out.
