I thought they would do the same for Essential Quality but maybe they don't think he can get 1-1/2 so they will take their shot now for TC race win.
Godolphin has already shipped in the UAE Derby winner to NY for the Belmont Stakes, so they have that raced covered if Essential Quality declines any further at Pimlico.
Wasn't there also a Japanese-based colt that got buried in the UAE Derby that was supposed to run in the Preakness?
