Points and ROI Totals through June 6, 2020

Ok, kinda back to normal. Cal828 adds to stash with a nice 2nd in both contests as JolyB keeps moving up up up as well with nice win in ROI. DonGuido seems to be waking up a bit as he nails the win in Pts and Ruffian333 adds a few eggs in her basket with a 4th in Pts, not to leave out Plenilune landing a nice 3rd in Pts.

So in this very stressful, volatile and crazy year in many wanys as we all maintain some semblance of fun and togetherness here. This is a good thing and this is a good place to keep it going. Thanks to all of you for making this happen !!!

Lets see where the Hudson River eel pizza man, takes us next. Remember, it's eely eely good!!!

1. 415 Cal828 (2nd ROI and Pts)
2. 317 JolyB (1st ROI)
3. 292 DonGuido (1st Pts)
4. 262 Ruffian-333 (4th Pts)
5. 227 Real Quiet
6. 116 Plenilune (3rd Pts)
7. 71 NJ Stinks
8. 66 Roamin42
9. 53 Indian Hemp
10. 51 Alli
11. 24 Cruzan200246

Points and ROI Totals thr0ugh June 20, The Belmont, 2020

So we have double points and extras as some of cashed in big this week on both. Our Colorado Kitten consulted her crystal ball and hit the Extras big time by nailing the straight exacta, last place horse Jungle Runner and closest to the lengths back being 39 1/4, she said 33. Other Extras beneficiaries were DG, Cal and JB who called for Jungle Runner to finish last. Not as many cashed in on the extras as I thought would.

See totals and changes below. And I also added the points for 6/13 contest I overlooked. Thanks for playing and we'll see where RQ takes us next.

1. 441 Cal828 (2nd ROI and 10 Extra Pts)
2. 349 JolyB (4th ROI and 10 Extra Pts) (3rd Pts and 2nd ROI 6/13)
3. 316 DonGuido (3rd Pts and 10 Extra Pts) (4th Pts 6/13)
4. 311 Ruffian-333 (4th Pts and 30 Extra Pts) (1st Pts 6/13)
5. 250 Real Quiet (1st Pts)
6. 142 Plenilune (2nd Pts and 3rd ROI)
7. 79 Roamin42 (1st ROI 6/13)
8. 75 Indian Hemp (1st ROI)
9. 71 NJ Stinks
10. 69 Alli (4th pts) (2nd Pts 6/13)
11. 24 Cruzan200246

Cal828 continues his control of the drivers seat although JolyB keeps nipping away at the lead. Ruffian-333 nails a win in Pts and grabs the 3rd place spot from DG while Alli moves a little close to Roamin in the 7th spot. 1. 453 Cal828 (2nd ROI and 3rd Pts)
2. 364 JolyB (1st ROI and 3nd Pts)
3. 322 Ruffian-333 (1st Pts)
4. 316 DonGuido
5. 251 Real Quiet
6. 143 Plenilune
7. 80 Roamin42
8. 75 Indian Hemp
9. 71 NJ Stinks

I guess I shouldn't be helping JolyB in his quest to dethrone me as the leader, but that will likely happen anyway with his inspired play. I think there is something amiss with the last totals. Joly's totals didn't change from 6/20 to 6/27 which I think can't be right. With a 1st in ROI and a 3rd in Points wouldn't he have earned 15 or 16 points on 6/27? Apologies, if I am wrong.

Hmmmm, thanks for the note. I'll check into it and make the changes if needed. You are correct I did not include the add 14 pts, now changed. He typically ups his game this time of year but he's still got a bit of work to catch you. Thanks again Cal.

Thank you Cal. That was a very sportsmanlike gesture on your part. I hope that I can reciprocate some day. I must confess that with all of the other things going on I have not paid much attention to the standings. I've been treating our weekly contests as a much needed diversion from other stuff and view this as a most enjoyable game we play among friends.

Points and ROI Totals Through July 11, 2020

Playing 2 week catch up again, sorry. Quick notable players are JB and Cal going back and forth like high level tennis match at the top with Cal still holding a large margin at the top. Ruf and Cruz keep on making good picks and adding nicely to their totals with some great ROI plays.

See below for score updates. I'll get back in the groove here soon and lets see how Saratoga opening day treated us.

1. 482 Cal828
2. 383 JolyB
3. 338 Ruffian-333
4. 322 DonGuido
5. 253 Real Quiet
6. 149 Plenilune
7. 82 Roamin42
82 NJ Stinks
9. 77 Indian Hemp
10. 65 Alli
11. 36 Cruzan200246
