Points and ROI Totals for 2019-2020 Contest Year

I guess I shouldn't be helping JolyB in his quest to dethrone me as the leader, but that will likely happen anyway with his inspired play. I think there is something amiss with the last totals. Joly's totals didn't change from 6/20 to 6/27 which I think can't be right. With a 1st in ROI and a 3rd in Points wouldn't he have earned 15 or 16 points on 6/27? Apologies, if I am wrong.

Hmmmm, thanks for the note. I'll check into it and make the changes if needed. You are correct I did not include the add 14 pts, now changed. He typically ups his game this time of year but he's still got a bit of work to catch you. Thanks again Cal.

Thank you Cal. That was a very sportsmanlike gesture on your part. I hope that I can reciprocate some day. I must confess that with all of the other things going on I have not paid much attention to the standings. I've been treating our weekly contests as a much needed diversion from other stuff and view this as a most enjoyable game we play among friends.

Playing 2 week catch up again, sorry. Quick notable players are JB and Cal going back and forth like high level tennis match at the top with Cal still holding a large margin at the top. Ruf and Cruz keep on making good picks and adding nicely to their totals with some great ROI plays.

Get this done on time for a change. Ruffian-333 keeps hanging tough in the top 3 with a nie win in Pts as DonGuido nabs a pocket full of points with a place spot in both contests. Real Quiet joins hands with DG for a place showing in Pts and maintains the 5th rung of the ladder and JolyB ups his total with a 3rd place finish in Pts helping to secure his place in the second hole. Plenilune does very will with her win in ROI and a4th place finish in Pts

Saratoga is not being very nice to us but it usually never is as far as handicapping. JolyB nailed a 3rd in Pts adding to his pocket and DonGuido hit a win in Pts helping he rise close to our Colorado kitten but stays in the 3 hole. Plenilune came in the place spot in points keeping s secure hold on the 6th rung of the ladder and Cruzan gathered a very win in ROI and 4th place bid in Pts.

Love my new laptop, bargin basement price but after much research it appears to be the best of a poor man's device loaded with Windows 10S and Office 365. I'm sure it's back to The Spa again for the Travers card. Cain't wait to be knocked down again.

Points and ROI totals through August 1, 2020

At it again at Saratoga with rather slim showings all around. So not much to write home about but JolyB captured 3rd place points while Ruffian added points for the show spot and DonGuido landed a minor score coming hitting 4th in Pts. Real Quiet took home the big prize of the day for a Pts win and Plenilune joined JB with a show spot. The ROI wagers hurt as well with Plen being the only one to get something back but shy of scoring points.

Off the The Spa again for Travers day. Maybe it will treat us all better this time???
