You werent even a thought by your parents when Buddy Hackett was doing stand up.

Carrot Top is the funniest guy alive and Tom Durkin is also a non stop amusement.

Damn.
I knew something was amiss. My list would be incomplete without the little narrowed eyed fat man.

These are the ones I've seen live..

1. Rodney (Syracuse's Landmark Theater in '81)
2. Eddie Murphy (Saw Delirious or Raw in Cincy at Music Hall around '84)
3. David Brenner (A dinner theater in E. Windsor, CT in 1978)
4. Jerry Seinfeld (Treehouse Comedy Club in Norwalk, CT, New Year's Eve, '89 or '90)
5. Jackie Mason (On Broadway in his "World According to Me")
6. Sandra Bernhardt (Off Broadway in her "Without You I'm Nothing")
7. George Carlin (At Oakwood in the Round in the '70's)
8. Ray Romano (At Comedyworks in Montreal before "Everybody Loved Him")
9. Mark Maron (Short Attention Span Theater host at Comedyworks in Montreal)
10. Harlan Williams (Before he got big at Comedyworks in Montreal)

Default Bill Hicks

Not many people remember Bill Hicks, who died of cancer in 1994. You can find many of his bits and interviews on youtube. This guy was incredibly cutting edge, and the topics he talks about 15 years ago are even more relavent today.

Word has always been around stand-ups that Denis Leary stole A LOT OF HIS EARLY ACT from Bill Hicks... And a number of them have always resented him because of it.

Hicks to this day is thought of as the 'comic's comic'...

What, no Michael Richards (Kramer)? Just kidding...although if the last month never happened he may have got a vote. Kind of a Pete Rose situation.

Robin Williams
Red Foxx (ever heard his stand up? excellent)
Don Rickles (way ahead of the curve)
Chris Rock
