Favorite Comedians
Some don't last long, thank goodness...see ya some day Dice Clay.
Some don't last long enough. "Today's comedian has a cross to bear that he built himself. A comedian of the older generation did an "act" and he told the audience, "This is my act." Today's comic is not doing an act. The audience assumes he's telling the truth. What is truth today may be a damn lie next week." Lenny Bruce Here is my top five list...please share yours. 1. Lenny Bruce 2. George Carlin 3. Bill Maher 4. George Burns 5. Jerry Seinfeld |
1. Rudy Ray Moore
2. Redd Foxx 3. Rickles 4. Rodney D. 5. Richard Pryor |

BUDDY HACKETT:cool: |
Stop acting like your old Kevin. Good grief, you're what 34?
You werent even a thought by your parents when Buddy Hackett was doing stand up. Carrot Top is the funniest guy alive and Tom Durkin is also a non stop amusement. |

Sam Kinnison, love it when he goes off Chris Farley on SNL Richard Pryor and this guy who works at this Gas Station I frequent. Dude just has me curled in the fetal position drollong in laughter 3/4's of the time telling stories |

Bill Hicks
Not many people remember Bill Hicks, who died of cancer in 1994. You can find many of his bits and interviews on youtube. This guy was incredibly cutting edge, and the topics he talks about 15 years ago are even more relavent today.

Hicks to this day is thought of as the 'comic's comic'... |
What, no Michael Richards (Kramer)? Just kidding...although if the last month never happened he may have got a vote. Kind of a Pete Rose situation.
Robin Williams Red Foxx (ever heard his stand up? excellent) Don Rickles (way ahead of the curve) Chris Rock |
