![]() It looks like he just has that will to win.
Looks beat in the stretch until he's tipped out, then he gobbles up ground needed for the win. Eager to see where he lands next!

![]() Things I wish : I wish I came back to re-read this thread. I was in Saratoga last week and could have used this Bricks and Mortar refresher last Friday. Instead of trying to beat 'em with Johnny V.'s Secretary at War (short), I could have used the 4-1. Congrats to those who stayed the course. (And yes, I heard Andy over the PA system claiming this as a major overlay - and still did not connect the dots.)

![]() Why on the gallop out does Ortiz look back and wait for Dettori on the 8 hoss to come up inside him, then appear to hand something to him ? Why would he be high 5 ing Frankie Dettori anyway? Are they buds or something ? Why does Ortiz only wear one glove ?

The 1 maybe could have been closer without going backwards at an important part of the race. I actually didn't think Bricks had the best trjp. He was wide, no cover and horses were making early moves outside of him. He still ran over the top of a stacked field, on less then firm turf for the 1st time. If he stays healthy he will win at least 4 more Grade 1s this year, at least. |
