There's one reason I haven't seen listed yet: Espinoza has a terrible record at Belmont. Isn't it something like 2 for 60 something? And a rider like that figures to come if for live mounts. Very significant he has done poorly there.

Looks like no rain today at Belmont . . . oh me oh my . . . can AP overcome that? But, but wait Equibase shows a 60% chance of rain . . . we'll just have to wait and see . . . and thank you racing gods for trying.
