Here's my itinerary thus far that I'm most likely gonna pull the trigger on...
Arrive Tampa at noon Tuesday Feb 24th Leave Tampa 10:30 Mon March 2 Round trip direct flights plus rental car is gonna run me $387 I figure most everyone will come in on Wednesday or Thursday. In regards to the hotel, I need some opinions. There are a couple decent ones rignt down the road from the track. Holiday Inn express is $139/night. I don't know how you guys feel about 3 to a room, but if we did that, after taxes it would be $50-$55 a night. Those that would prefer just 2 to a room, by all means. Depending on how many make the trip, a 2nd rental would maybe be a smart idea. Talk to me.

from Chicago, i'm looking at Wed. arrival and Monday Departure.
I have an "in" possibly for hotels not too far from the track, it worked out well when we went in 2013, about 7 miles from the track. 3 to a room is fine with me, we did it last time with a roll out. once i hear back from "in" i'll need a head count to see what we're working with numbers wise. *suggestions, if we get a soccer mom van we might only need to rent 1 car? and put gpk in the back with the spare tire -bt-
