Manti Te'o dead girlfriend story a hoax?

so many stories coming out.

he never met her. he met her once. she went to hawaii...no, wait. she didn't go there. and the story i just linked-perhaps he realized it was a hoax, but continued to use it for sympathy points? or he knew all along.

this story is an onion. has many layers, and it stinks.

Gotta admit that I couldn't care less about the whole scenario. But I don't blame ND for not exposing this BEFORE the championship game.

i don't either. and i'm sure they're not thrilled it came out now. it's an interesting story, but by no means an important one.

Why would manti fake a relationship for 3 years? Was he planning all along to kill her off for publicity in the end?

and notredame fan, who knows? certainly gave him a lot of extra publicity, an si cover, etc. why would someone 'date' a person he never met for three years?

cause he likes men and didnt want his Mormon family and college teammates to find out.

that is the ONLY thing that makes sense.

Especially since Te'o is friends with the person who made up the fake girlfriend.
