Yeah man! And I loved Spend A Buck, but I couldn't see him beating Pancho going 7f.

Angel committed to ride Track Barron for Peter Brant in the Met Mile. Since the Preakness was the next logical step (?) it didn't seem to matter at the time. When Dennis Diaz changed his plans to run in the Jersey Derby for the 2.6 mil bonus, ABC televised the race and scheduled it for the same time as the Met. Angel's agent asked if they could work something out with the schedule so he could copter in. Diaz said no, Pincay jumped on and the rest is history. Track Barron ran third in the Met to Forzando II a 23-1 shot and 41-1- Mo Exception.

Here is Spend A Buck holding off Creme Fraiche and El Basco in the Jersey Derby:

Forzando was about the easiest to hit 20/1 ever.
