It's a question that is impossible to answer unless you have charts and past performances for the prep races that year. If I was trapped in the Keeneland Library with four hours to kill I could do it.

Spend A Buck was loose on an unpressured lead through a 23 flat quarter -- Bodemeister was head-to-head with a sprinter through a 22 1/5th first quarter.

I didn't get to see a lot of Spend A Buck's races ... but Bodemeister is the type of horse who can go 49 for a half so long as he isn't being challenged for the lead.
