The haters are turning me into a Tebow fanatic. I loathe you lazy motherf.ucking contrarians.
Personally Coach, for me it's more a matter of the team not getting enough recognition then it is hating on Tebow. Once again they found away to get it done. But, if it wasn't for another dynamite performance by the defense, they lose the game. Tebow was great late in the 4th nd OT, he just has to hope that the defense continues to keep them in games.

all Tebow does is credit his teammates and say that his teammates make him look better than he does. Its the media that piles it all on Tebow.

Prater deserves the game ball for this one. and Tebow was not nearly as bad as his first 3 quarter stats look. they had a short FG blocked. At least 5 passes bounced right off the recievers hands. one would have been a very long TD pass. His WR's looked totally inept the first 3 Q's.. but to their credit, they and the whole team come through in the clutch. Tebow did have a good 5-10 passes that missed the target by like 10 yards... but in that 0-11 stretch in the game, there were 4 or 5 obvious drops.

I dont get why people hate on Tebow unless they are a Raider/Chiefs/Chargers fan. all the guy does is come through when it counts.

Because he sucks and he's an annoying Christer.

The Caleb Hainne/Marion Barber Bears just lost at home to the Tyler Palko Chiefs last week.

He needed a miracle to beat the 2-10 Vikings two weeks ago.

He's played two OK teams -- the Detroit Lions beat him 45-to-10. The Jets got Sanchez'ed when they had the game in hand.

If Tim Tebow was Tebowing to Allah no one would be calling him a winner. It would be how the Broncos are winning despite the fact that the terrorist quarterback sucks.

dude is 7-1 as a starter and all you guys can come up with is that the first half isnt pretty and apparently all 7 NFL teams he and the Broncos beat all suck. eventhough 3 of those teams are still in the mix for the playoffs.

Its all BS. If he played for the Pats you'd be on your knees for him. Who cares that he's loves jesus? at least he's actually genuine about it and backs up his words with deeds.

well, can't argue with any of that!

yeah, i know he gets a lot of attention, but is anyone really calling him a good qb? denver is no world beater, but to watch the 4th q's of these games has been hilarious.

Watching the first 3 quarters of these games is hard.

The Jets game VS the Tebow's was one of the ugliest games to watch I've ever seen. The only two TD's in the first 3 and a half quarters were scored by a guard from Nebraska on a fumble recovery and a defensive back from the Tebow's on a Sanchez interception return.

If they showed the first 3.5 quarters of yesterday's game to Terrorists in Guantonimo Bay ... it would be a greater form of torture than waterboarding.

It's horrible football at the skill positions. Good stuff if you like watching offensive lines battle defensive fronts.

In the end, you have to look at everything. It could have easily been 10-0 Denver at half time...Prater had a chip shot blocked and Thomas dropped a wide open touchdown pass. Then all of a sudden his first 3 quarters don't look all that bad. Of course some bad things from him the first 3 too. He's not great and this may be the peak of his career, but I think he's played fine.

exactly. A lot of people just look at the stat line and make assumptions. Granted, Tebow missed the broad side of a barn on a lot of throws in the first 3 quarters.. but there were at least 5 terrible drops and 10 points that should have been on the board.

It happens to both teams though.. evens out. Just look at the former Cowgirl running back.

The 3-16 start was horrible.
The 18-24 finish was not horrible.
7-1 is not debatable.

Does he get to much credit? Perhaps. But that comes with the territory for being an NFL quarterback. You are the star. You date supernodels.

will Tebow magic end next week vs New England, it would be a hoot if it became a shootout. Tebow throwing for 400 yards and 4 td's..lol vs Brady doing the same.

I really don't see all the hate that everyone is talking about. I just feel that the media who is doing cartwheels over the guy, should give a little more mention to the rest of the team (who has done a tremendous during this run as well)
Obviously, you can't argue with the fact that they are 6-0 with him as a starter. It's been said countless times, the guy is a trendous competitor and is getting it done. It really is a great feel good story. But just because people try to keep things in perspective, doesn't automatically make them a hater.

He started against the Lions.

They lost 45-10.

I also think he was 1-2 as a starter last year.

the media talks about tebow non stop. But everyone I've heard gives just as much or more credit to the defense, coaches, Prater, etc. They just make tebow the headline of it and talk about him more because he brings in the ratings and $$. But the rest of the team is still getting credit.

I'm sorry but a lot of posters keeps saying that he's beat 7 crappy teams. If giving a guy crap because he keeps winning isnt being a hater, I dont know what is. you know better than that.

well, are they crappy teams? i don't think they are hating on him, i think they're just trying to keep things in perspective. yes, they've had some nice come from behind wins-but you have to take the oppostion into consideration. and of course the whipping detroit meted out is something you have to remember as well.
it's like rapid redux, everyone knows what he's done-but he's no hoy candidate just because he has a record win streak.
