This is very true. I just think that too often in team sports, people are labeled as winners or losers based on championships won when so many factors that are beyond their control play a large part in whether they win or not. As I mentioned with Moss, without that miracle pass to Tyree, Moss has a ring now. Did Kevin Garnett suddenly become a winner when he won or did he become better? Dirk Nowitzki is not better now than he has been and he wasn't a loser before. Is Alex Rodriguez a winner now? Trent Dilfer is a winner and Dan Marino a loser?
