Unfortunately, many of the "peace loving" males in this religion have the desire to hurt people in other religions etc. They live their lives by controlling those desires. Truth is that, when this inner discipline breaks down, innocent Americans pay a very high price. Riot would like for you to think that there are only these separate well designated groups of people doing us harm. The reality is that the incidents in Texas, Portland, and NYC were caused by people who had been part of the peaceful majority. Soon as something inside them goes bad, they don't rob a jewelry store. They don't rape a family member. They don't force the lil girl next door to watch them jack off. They don't cut their own kids' heads off. They don't jump off a cliff.

They try to kill as many non-Muslims as they possibly can. Bitch, are you oblivious to this fact of life?

They were raised by the peaceful majority. They weren't raised by terrorists. When peaceful members of this religion go bad, it's not gunna go well for people who don't belong to their religion.

good to know it's a small minority. and yes, i'm giving the pols benefit of the doubt in thinking their hearings make sense. if it turns out to be what hi im god says, then shame on them. i just don't think political correctness should keep us from taking legitimate steps to solve a problem before it becomes a large one. we don't engage in witch hunts, but we can't put our heads in the sand either.

LOL...You wouldn't be calling it a small problem if that guy in Portland had been able to do what he wanted to the people at that Christmas tree lighting. We aren't always gunna be able to stop them. Many more innocent people are gunna have to die before we actually get serious with these people. We haven't been hurt enough yet. I guarantee you there will come a day when people won't think these hearings are overkill. Riot will look even more like an idiot than she does. She'll still be saying it's about race. I realize you were addressing Scuds with this post but I think that the reality of the situation is that "radical Islam" is a danger and I think it prudent to look at attempts by these few to influence others. It really comes down to how these hearings are handled, hopefully they won't become an attack on the vast majority of loyal Americans who practice Islam and are peaceful. The bastardation of Islam must be the focus, not the religion itself.

I agree. Radical Islam is a danger and concern. We should put all necessary resources to it. Muslims, however, are not.

Do you have any idea what you expect to see in these hearings? Seriously: we already have CIA, FBI, terrorist speciality groups, special ops groups, etc. that have spent 10+ years investigating and profiling radicals in the US. We've caught 80, 40 turned in by their Muslim relatives (and I am trying to find where I read that yesterday to reference it properly ... )

I'm very serious here: what in the world do you think could possibly be the unique or useful information that could come forth from this public C-Span 2 Islamophobiafest? Especially considering who King has invited to speak?

Here's what we will learn:
1. Many people fear Muslims and terrorists.
2. Some American's child became radicalized. It was awful.
3. The American Muslim community should help us find radicalized terrorists in this country.
4. King will markedly tone down his anti-Muslim rhetoric for the TV cameras.
