Going from synthetic to dirt (see Zardana, et al)

Had perfect prep race after being on shelf for two months

Fresh, fit, and moving from less than ideal distance (8.5f) to ideal distance (10f)

Trained by a guy who owns big score at CD.

You guys do realize that Z could be sitting on a big one here … right?

No, but your hedging is pretty amusing. When she's off the board in the Classic your excuse is all ready.

That "big one" is a career top of a 104 on dirt against a shaky field where the other horse in the race who wasn't much to begin with ran like crap anyway. Gonna take a whole lot better than a 104 to beat Blame, Quality Road, etc.

The irony is that Blame and Quality Road are hardly good horses in a historical sense. Neither would currently break into the top 100.

It's not ironic....it's legit and sad.

I wonder why no one ships in for a couple of hundrend g's to beat the big mare? Can it just be that they are so against synthetics that they wouldnt dare come race on principle alone. Is it the owners who dont want to try it or the trainers? Her races on dirt show alot more turn of foot than her races on synthetic of course this just my opinon but I just dont get why a 5k plane ride and some hotel rooms for help doesnt attract more people to come and try and beat her. Its gotta be the synthetic principle, call b ullshit but dont show up to prove it.

She might have been sitting on a big one all year had they taken the training wheels off.
