Thanks for the heads up. I can watch without getting quite so anxious when it happens. Not that it's no big deal, but knowing it's okay let's you watch some things you otherwise might avoid. I went years before I tried to watch Ruffian's or Go For Wand's tragic final races. Haven't been able to go back to Pine Island's breakdown or the freak accident before Exogenous' Distaff, but I saw them on tv and have them recorded somewhere.

Happy to save you the anxiety. It looks awful (and, of course, they show a replay), but they interview the rider at the stadium jumping part (which, understandably, he did not ride in) and he praises the safety air vests a lot of the riders now use.
