Do you honestly think it was Tiger's idea to come out and claim he's a sex addict? The fact is that he got caught cheatin with many woman. But I guess sex addict sounds better than obsessive cheater (especially when he makes his living in a sport that depends on the participants ultimate honesty). My opinion only is that having affairs with dozen+ women at the same time is not normal behavior. That being said, I don't know what Tigers thought process was or any other particulars of what was going through his mind during this time frame. None of us do. Its not my place to judge if he is an addict or not.

I'm much more familiar with the disease of alcoholism than addiction, although like many people, my life has been affected in different ways by the disease of addiction. I wish Tiger nothing but the best in his chosen path of recovery. I do feel sorry for Elin. She will need more strength and patience than she could ever have imagined if she is to stick it out with Tiger and walk with him down this path.

Kev, While I do believe that the addiction to alcohol and drugs (not DrugsS, although those people who are addicited to him need serious help) is a sickness and requires help/treatment. The issues Tiger had/has isn't an addicition, it was a choice.
