Seems pretty sincere. Have to give him at least some credit for getting up there.

I hope he and his wife can work things out and somehow put all this behind them.

I didn't buy it either, the parts I heard. What i don't get is why wait 2-3 months to come to your wife's defense on the domestic assault charge? if there was no truth to it why let her twist in the wind like that, he could have quashed those rumours early on. I still think she bashed him in the head with a club.

ddthetide 02-19-2010 10:51 AM

i can't wait to hear the hecklers at the courses ride him. see how he handles it when he can't control everything.
his outburst and having people thrown out days are over.

That perfectly sums up the way I felt. I wanted so badly to see a humbled and contrite Tiger.

I have never met the man and don't know anyone that has so i can't speak to him as a person. Having said that, he came across as a real *******.

...everbody deserves a second chance....it is up to Tiger to prove his critics wrong, while straightening out his life. I wish him well, as I would wish for any of you.

geeker2 02-19-2010 11:15 AM

Addiction.... no mater what form it takes is a muthfucl<er

Good luck Tiger

Antitrust32 02-19-2010 11:18 AM

I thought it was funny when he talked about how easy it was for him to get p*ssy.

I didnt buy it either, but I do think he said the right things.

I just want him to get back out on the course so I can start watching golf again and rooting for him!

It's really nobody's buisness what goes on in his personal life and the only person that can give him a second chance is his wife. I really don't think people's attidude inside the Golf community (including fans of the sport) has changed at all.
Today was just a charade for the Corparations that are thinking about re-signing/signing him to a deal.

I agree 100%.... Nike in full CYA mode.

somerfrost 02-19-2010 12:15 PM

I felt he was sincere and I agree with his efforts to shelter his family, as he clearly stated, the blame falls on his shoulders alone...good luck Tiger, I will continue to root for you!

I wish him well in his recovery. I hope he is sincere in his desire to work his particular program. I pray humility and the gift of desperation fills every ounce of his soul.

The disease of addiction is a sad one, that is far reaching and affects many others than just the addict.

Am I the only one that doesn't buy the "sex addict" claim?
