I have an even crazier story of winning the Magna Pick 5 on Feb 25th 2006 for 11.7k before Uncle Sam's 25%. Einstein would have to be my most sentimental favorite horse over debonair Joe.
That race still haunts me and can still vividly picture Go Deputy refusing to go by Einstein as they neared the wire. I had Go Deputy and some bad favorite covered on a slim $32 ticket.
