It's a shame such fitting slogans as "The summer place to be" and "The Great Race Place' have been taken up by other tracks.

As Doug points out, Saratoga is 'the Summer Place to Be' and Santa Anita 'the Great Race Place', while Monmouth offers 'Fast Times on the Jersey Shore' and Del Mar is where 'the Turf Meets the Surf'....

Presque Isle Downs needs an identity! A moniker that stands the test of time and places it appropriately in the pantheon of great racing ovals. Let's help generate the enthusiasm for "PID" and its' upcoming season with a contest to offer Western Pennsylvania's best racetrack a slogan!
