You're all confusing Erie (the intellectual capitol of Pennsylvania) with some SEC confrence city.

Most people don't realize it ... but the question mark, the wind chill factor, and Taebo were all invented in Erie.

Well known people from the city are ...

* A white wide reciever (are they finally extinct now that Welker's hurt?) who is in both the NFL and College Football Hall of Fame .. also a Super Bowl MVP and a major award for best college wide reciever in the nation is named in his honor.

* A guy who was voted NFL defensive MVP the same year he won a Super Bowl ring - all despite being shorter than Blackthroatedwind

Other athletes include an offensive lineman who made 5 straight Pro-Bowls in the 90s and is now an outspoken advocate for the legalization of drugs and a 9/11 truther. And some old dude who was the NL Rookie of the Year.

Among our bright minds ....

* Tom Ridge ... the guy who kept you safe after 9/11 with his tremendously clever color coated terror level alert system.

* That Harry Markopoulous dude who kept trying to snitch on Bernie Madoff.

* The Fat Man's hero Andy Beyer.

Among the most artistic ...

* That dude who sings this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hT3zCj3F1d4

* Some drummer from Nine Inch Nails who also worked with Marylin Manson.
