And I would also point out to you that the GOP will hold the House with Speaker Boehner, but no, the voters didn't change the majority in the Senate. That is still Democratic, and the Senate will still be under Majority Leader Harry Reid.

simple leave them out and equal IBM's / Warheads between the USA minus our squatters, Russia and China. I'm sure the GOP and common sense is onboard!

I think doddering old Senators that try to suddenly back-door amend treaties that were signed with foreign entities last April, treaties the doddering old Senators have always supported, for the sole purpose of trying to screw the President of the United States politically, need to be ignored and voted down just as they were.

START treaty will pass, as it has since Reagan, and that's good.

WASHINGTON — The Senate on Wednesday ratified an arms control treaty with Russia that reins in the nuclear weapons that could plunge the world into doomsday, giving President Barack Obama a major foreign policy win in Congress' waning hours.

Thirteen Republicans broke with their top two leaders and joined 56 Democrats and two independents in providing the necessary two-thirds vote to approve the treaty. The vote was 71-26.
