![]() This one should be amusing to watch. They pay $2.20 show minimums.
The 1 horse is four for four this year - with 3 stakes wins - two of which against open company in very fast races. Dominant early speed in the race. The 1A is the fields best closer - and second best horse overall. The 2 is scratched The 3 could seriously not outrun a goat. Career top Beyer of just 45 and she's been beaten back to back in 5K N2L Wva bred company. She gets beat a pole here. The 4 is 0-for-5 this year in all Wva bred N3L alw races. The 5 won it's debut in a Wva Bred MSW race with a 72 Beyer last out. Could be a decent horse - but is stepping up and stretching out. The 6 has run Beyers of 38. 50, and 53 last three tries. The 7 has run 13 times with just one win and a career top Beyer of 63. |

![]() I wasn't even close with my million dollar estimate .... about 200K was all that was bet.
http://www1.drf.com/drfPDFChartRaces...=20100828&RN=8 The solid one won by 13+ lengths. The 1A surely would have been second if not for an abysmal ride. |

![]() I'm not sure - but I would have to think a huge %. Mid 90's probably.
It's normally a pretty good idea to make a show bet on the 2nd most likely horse to hit the board in a bridgejumper race ... but this was one of the truly rare races where it seemed utterly impossible for the 1 to be off the board and also close to impossible for his entrymate the 1A to be off the board. They also had opposite running styles to boot - and you get the 10% instead of the 5%. I can't ever remember seeing a more favorable situation for a bridge jumper. |

![]() I saw that horse run back on July 10th, and it was another drowning. She seems to love CT, no doubt about that.

Yes, the 10% is huge. I wish I'd seen your post in time. --Dunbar
