![]() just a meaningless poll.
i think it's moderatly unlikely he's re-elected given the economy but if it happens what are the chances the opposition accepts him as the legitimate leader of the country for a 2nd term? |

![]() moot point, Obama will be flushed in a landslide.
but to your question, what do you consider acceptance? I mean unless there was something illegal or improper about the vote count that could be contested in court, what are they to do? draft a resolution saying "we don't accept the president"? they would simply do what they are doing now which is to shut down his radical agenda. the gop will get the senate next time, so even if obama pulled some hail mary and got another term, he would be reduced to being even more of a bystander than he is now. he'd probably love it, nothing but vacations, golfing, and speeches while the GOP fixes the mess we're in. |

because, you know, that's important stuff. and obama won't win unless you folks manage to completely **** up the economic hand you've been dealt. which i don't put beyond your apparently retarded political capabilities. this whole disaster you seem not just unable to avoid but actually yearn for is a gift. he'd have no chance with a 10% unemployment rate absent your insistence to grab onto the responsibility for it. |

![]() If you had to put your money where your mouth is ... seeing that Obama is heavily favored to win re-election and all ... who would you bet against him with?
Mitt Romney: 5.3-to-1 odds Rick Perry: 7.8-to-1 odds Michele Bachman: 30-to-1 odds Joe Biden: 30-to-1 odds Tim Pawlenty: 34-to-1 odds Jon Huntsman: 36-to-1 odds Ron Paul: 45-to-1 odds Sarah Palin: 47-to-1 odds Newt Gingrich: 165-to-1 odds Do any of those prices look better than the 3-to-5 on Obama? |

![]() I don't get the question. Why wouldn't they "accept" a second term? This isn't the Sudan.

![]() Considering the number of right-wing extremists that don't accept the President's first term as legimate, I doubt they will change for his second.

![]() Wait until he raises the debt ceiling next week without Congress and you'll see how people feel.. The smart folks will know that doing so saved the economy but the usual suspects will call for his head. Not a fan of his but he has been dealt 2-7 Offsuit is playing it.

he'll be reasonably formidable. i'd put his fair odds at 7-5. it's going to be a much tougher general election than a lot of democrats think unless the house repubicans actually decide to fly an airplane into the economy. |
