Excellent question. No matter how long, however, a massive GP return effort would be odds-on.

“He had a poor performance in the Arkansas Derby, so we just decided to give him some time off. He never really had any serious issues,” said Pletcher. “He’s ready to go, now we have to figure out where to start him back. I have him nominated for the Sir Shackleton, but nothing is definite yet.”

Anyone like Arm Force? He should appreciate going longer. Big field with a lot of the big name trainers, you likely will get all of that 20-1.

Took my first look at the pp's for the La Derby today and Rousing Sermon caught my eye.
Third off the layoff and just got back to his juvy top number.
He is shipping and running back on 3wks rest though. No local works.

One thing is sure: Tom Amoss' colt Shared Property will be overbet. The locals are just dying for him to win this race one day, and his Derby prospects always get over-hyped and overbet at FG.
