Bodemeister dominates,wins in hand and goes on to win the Santa Anita Derby by 5 lengths in record time,then goes to the Kentucky Derby as the .3rd choice and wins by 8 in 1:59 .4,then goes on to triple crown fame win he wins the crown with two dominating wins at the Preakness and Belmont,the first since Affirmed another west coast based colt

Affirmed began and ended his career in NY. He did winter in CA at 3 and 4, though.

Hard race. I can only toss Tiz Point.....It's a Jockey's race. I wouldn't take Creative Cause. On his good days, he's awesome..... On his other days, he's a punk. He won't fight.

I kinda agree with this, except for Creative Cause being awesome.... Hes solid, feels like slow and likes to plod. A Giants Causeway that will defeat me.

I'll take my shot with Blingo althought I think he might end up bein "grassy". Harringtons "other" horse, Empire Way, looks interesting too.

Liaison starting to look somewhere between Timber Country and Giacomo. Looked like he dropped back sharply entering the backstretch but finished with some interest.
