Did I miss some news on My Miss Aurelia being out of action? I know she had a shin thing, but I thought the Oaks was still a goal.

Her exclusion is definitely the story of the Oaks wager. Yet to record a workout and they undoubtedly spoke to Asmussen/Blasi about her status..

Speaking of My Miss Aurelia, the filly that almost beat her last year (in the Adirondack), Millionreasonswhy, made her comeback today at Laurel in a minor stakes. Only won by a little over a length, but it was 14 lengths back to the show horse, and the race was faster than older male horses in an optional claimer earlier on the card. She still has to stretch out, though.

They seem to take down the exacta probables at night but the win odds are up. Exactas will probably be up again at 11am EST. Betting closes at 6pm for the Derby, 6:30pm for the Oaks.
