Couldn't agree more. He was great last night and his accuracy on deep throws is terrific. Andrew Luck has gotten to the point now where people expect so much from him that he seems to take a minor step back each week.

I'd love for Robert Griffin to be a successful NFL QB but he looks like a slightly upgraded Troy Smith to me.

Matt Barkley has certainly improved his game by a ton this year but last year, there were still plenty of holes in his game. I would want to see another good year before I'd take him as the top qb. I also would think about Leinart and Sanchez and be a little reluctant to go that high with a USC qb.

They all need to continue to develop to have a successful NFL career. People have pretty much already enshrined Luck in Canton, so he's going to have a real hard time living up to the hype.

Barkley is a better passer than Sanchez or Leinart, so I don't think what they have done is relevant in regards to him.

Plus, Barkley seems to be pretty religious, so he'll have that whole karma thing working for him in the NFL.

Not to mention comparing Sanchez and Leinart right now is idiotic. Sanchez takes a ton of s.hit here and everywhere else but the guy's career has been worlds better than Leinart's so far.

Barkley is playing in an entirely different offense than Leinart or Sanchez did, one that's virtually a carbon copy of what Kiffin did at Oakland. Having watched him in both the USC-Stanford game then again last night I think he has the most upside by far. The love for Andrew Luck is deserved but rapidly getting way over the top.

which is why, although his suck factor has been undeniable, i think there's still a chance that leinart does okay in houston's west coast offense.

he can't throw downfield but he can manage a short pass game with strong run support. which is what he'll be asked to do.

nice call on griffin, king.
