Not true. I have friends who send their kids to private school and they are middle class. They also don't take vacations, buy new cars, etc. to be able to afford the school. The public school they would have attended is patrolled by police, has a poor education record, and is constantly being disrupted by gang fights (this is an elementary school). They just chose to put their kids before a lavish lifestyle.
