Dodgers are 5 back, and the Chisox are 3.5 games back of a team that never quits (before the playoffs.) I'm not sure Manny will o.k. it. Isn't it a 1 shot deal? They can't just keep dangling him on waivers. If the Chisox claim him, and he turns it down, then it's not easy to try it again.
