Thumbs up Going to the doubleheader

Heels convinced me, Karen & I are making the trip down on Friday.......it won't hurt missing a few days @ the Spa. Hey, it's a long meet anyway!.........

Default Barn Visit

Just got back from a barn visit with Joe and Mark. We got to see Susan work Graphite Halo. All of the horses are quiet and happy. Finally got to meet Missus Mayflower - she is the sweetest little thing, built like a quarter horse and has a lovely demeanor. Kickin N Screamin looks unbelievably good. She is actually relaxed. Susan took her out to graze and she enjoyed finding the sweet pieces of grass. We took lots of pictures and will load them up later. Tony Black hung out with us at the barn and went to the track with us while Susan worked Graphite Halo. It was a real education watching horses work and getting Tony's espertise while we watched.

Looking forward to the race later this afternoon. Safe travels to all who are heading this way, looks to be another gorgeous day.

That was not good. She was well placed but was through very early. maybe a return to turf/poly in her future?
