He overcame a lot - gotta give him and his jockey a lot of credit. It's going to make for a very interesting Preakness. I'm just glad Super Saver won, cuz that's who I bet on. Nothing earth shattering $5 across the board.

It took me a while to latch onto Super Saver, but I went with it because it was Calvin and because it was double SS's like in Street Sense. Hey, it worked.

nice dig in by general quarters in the woodford...even better, seeing a bunch of last years derby horses back for another year. they may not be the best ever, but i'm glad to see it.

That IEAH rat cost me a bunch today not beating GQ. General Quarters was at least a viable alternative to him as the rest of the field had shown no soft turf form. I've certainly had worse beats. At least I didn't get to CD in time to play the pick 4, then I REALLY would have been nutty.

If you take away the Achient Title on synth, Atta Boy Roy may be a better horse than many of us thought he was, he ran a very good race yesterday on a track that didn't favor front runners.
