That's where private charity comes in. Can you imagine if all of the money that is spent on elections and re-elections, lobbying, payoffs, pork, etc. was spent for all of the social programs the left is pushing? There would be no need for socialized anything, or raising taxes. The poor would be taken care of by people like you and me.
