i agree he was rushed. if he has anything left we will see it in his 1st start back.

how far do you think he wants to go though?

I have no idea, I deleted him from my mind after Lukas put him through the grinder.

if you look at his pps its not the usual rush though. his races were well spaced, but he never should have run at churchill.

his dam was pure sprinter and she has thrown nothing but sprinters.

Stay Put is a horse that could offer some value.

Should turn up in the Risen Star next weekend, and I assume will be totally ignored in the future wager pool. If he's 75-1 or more, you could do worse.

Without a horse that has even shown a glimmer of greatness yet, I imagine the field will be pounded this weekend.

Didn't he have some surgery after the Churchhill race to fix a breathing problem? He is a big horse and has been training pretty good. He may be just a sprinter but I am curious to see how he comes back on Monday especially if he has some of his Daddy's will in him.

Betting has begun. Live odds are at:

http://www.kentuckyderby.com/future-wager/odds

They are showing the same "Pool Total" for the win odds and the exacta odds. Pretty lame.

You'll get better odds waiting until derby day

They corrected it, sort of. They are now showing separate pool totals, but some of the exacta payoffs are way bigger than the amount in the exacta pool. (As I write, there is $6600 in the exacta pool; the biggest payoffs are $11,300.) The payoffs must be based on a $2 bet but it's possible to bet $1?
