True, but dropping a horse off of two wins at higher tags off a two month layoff with one slow work says one of two things, they are going to try to steal a purse or they want to get rid of the horse because something happened last time out, these are the type I like to bet against. It is hard to believe that this one will not get claimed if she looks right in the paddock.

I bet against them every time , and you will always come out ahead in the long run staying away from these type drop downs. 99% there is a hole in this one somewhere thats just about to break, It is usually a case of when, during or after the race

Here is the one thing about this horse. She is out of conditions and is a PA bred. This is probably the correct spot for her considering she gets to run for $32,200. That is allowance money against 5 claimers. 5 claimers is probably a little aggressive but when your running for 32,200, you really aren't that concerned about the 5k. Hell, she wins and gets claimed, they get 24k.

If that were to happen at Arlington, you would get 11k. OUCH!

Good luck today, she should run good 2nd start over the surface

Great stuff and explanation.

With the 24k you can buy 4 more then when they all win their next start you made 76k.. This sounds like a plan.lol

The 14opt claimer at Penn Nat goes for 40k with 16k added for a Pa Bred.. 56k for a 14kclaimer IF you can find a Pa Bred to run a 80 Bsf..Unfortunately it isnt so easy..

GOOD LUCK TODAY KNS!

You were VERY right about this horse. Never got into it and was pulled up I think.

That rail is so deep at Philly..

jmho and honest dont mean to anthropomorphize (sp? lol) but don't think she likes the Philly surface one little bit and is counting the days on her sharp little hoofs until Arlington opens - still ours????

the 40% added money is hard to pass on especially in Pa were the money is unreal.. There is Penn Nat also and that kind maybe just what she needs.. 18k plus 40% doesnt suck for a 7 year old decent race mare..
