i'm not buying it , they had 1 close call all year , against Arkansas at home other that that they never had to sweat

alabama was a better team this year no question , but , i'm not buying the fact that florida was worse than last year , i watched a defense shut everyone down this year during the regualr season , they layed an egg yesterday and mcillroy came up big but that was the only bad game of the year for them

the gators were the third highest scoring offense in the country last year (46.3 per game) and won by a staggering average of 37 points. This year, they won by an average of 11.8 per game and scored on average nearly 20 points less.

Last year's squad was being compared to amongst the best in Gator history as well as one of the best in college football in the last 20 years. This year? They won and did what they needed to do but they were hardly dominant in a few games that you would expect them to crush.

The defense was great all year. But the offense just wasnt the same. All in all, they werent as good.
