Hamels acted like he's never made a mistake eventhough he's pitched below average all year long. He needs to grow a pair and throw a perfect game if he expects everyone else to be perfect. He deserves to be benched for this start. I wouldnt be surprised if he gets boo'd a little on Wednesday.

Ya know SCUDS, I like you and all, but its ashame that you have to be a Dodgers fan. You are a true fan but damn, the Dodgers stadium is empty for the first few innings EVEN in the playoffs. Ya guys dont make any noise like the Phils fans do. Bunch of fairweather pansys. Dodgers fans = Broxton. And then you feel the need to complain about Philly fans. This dude TJ Simers is a fucl<ing loser.
As you know, Fox will be broadcasting the World Series and it likes to put the camera on the face of every single fan sitting in the stands, these fans as ugly as any in the country. Nowhere in America are people more angry than those living here. During Game 3 they had their humorless furry mascot put on boxing gloves and take on someone who was supposed to be an L.A. fan, sunglasses, cellphone and all. The furry mascot punched him out, much to the delight of the folks here who love a dash of violence with their sports entertainment. During Game 4 the furry mascot took a small Dodgers blue helmet, placed it on the ground and then pulverized it, much to the delight of the locals. Same tired skits, by the way, they employed a year ago. But this is considered entertainment here, the only bright spot if they draw the Yankees now, getting a look in the mirror at fans who might remind them of themselves. http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-...08,full.column Fucl< you BJ Simers for this bullcrap. I wish our furry mascot would beat you into the ground, just like Rollins beat that fastball. We are not like Yankees fans, thats the worst insult you can get. Simers sounds like he still hasnt gotten over last years ass pounding. This series isnt over by a longshot but I hope this Simers cun.t has to write another crying whining pansy article. Its too bad you are a dodgers fan scuds, you would be a better Phillies fan. Greatest chant ever is "YOU TOOK STERIODS" i wish every opposing stadium would cheer that to Manny for the rest of his career. If we get through this series.. a rod is next..

Cut the World Series MVP some slack, Antitrust32
He's an intense competitor busting his a*s out there trying to make good pitch after good pitch to some of the best hitters in the league in the biggest games of the year. If Utley and Rollins can't handle a look of disgust from their pitcher when they blow a routine double-play ball, they're the little girls, in my opinion.

Instead of supporting his teammates (who have supported Hamels all career with big plays in the field and at bat) and brushing off the error and getting out of the inning only giving up 1 run, he whines and gives up a huge homer to Manny. I'll cut him some slack tomorrow if he goes out and pitches great and doesnt throw any teammates under the bus.

What? The Grade-1-Challenged Thoroughbred Trainer isn't piling on? Needs a little more time, I guess. Maybe he's leading a seminar on "How you too can be a White Conservative in America." Aren't the Angel games packed enough (early on) to satisfy you people? A-1 Sauce, if Philly is so great, then why do you have to go escape to Florida? Isn't their enough choice Dyke in the lesser Philly area for you? I'd like to know why you care what this T.J. Simers guy has to write. He's not well-liked here (at all.) I could never see why people had such a wicked hard-on for Jim Murray, but he was sure better than this a-s-s. This has nothing to do with Philly. This guy was gunna choke against anyone in a big spot like this. Jimmy Rollins got the cookie, but anybody could of gotten it. The biggest knock (no, it's not that the stands aren't loaded up with enough fat white trash at a certain time of the proceedings at hand) on this organization is their do-nothing approach to treating the cancer called choking. If that's your plan (ignore it,) then it's gunna nail ya again, and it did. It's their fault for not trading him. I told them to get rid of this fkn woman. This Asian lady (our assistant G.M.) is interviewing for head G.M. jobs. That's my 1st question to her. What part (if any) did you have in bringing this choking woman reliever back this year to again blow the pivotal 4th game of the NLCS? I think the worst thing about the Dodger Fans is that not enough of them demanded this woman be traded after last season. That should of been a much louder chorus. This was one of those very preventable abortions. If people would just look at the facts laid out in front of them, it all points to this gal being their biggest obstacle to ever being a Championship Club. You saw me btch about this woman, because it was (still is) a huge problem that wasn't being addressed. She's got plenty enough talent. Go back and look at the last pitch in the St. Louis series. That's what the Dodger Fans deserve from this woman. That was a 100 mph fastball with huge action (slicing a diagonal) through the strike zone. That's not what Jimmy Rollins was challenged with. He wasn't challenged (at all.) All of his elderly kin could of hit that sorry pitch.

Maybe thats why you guys are struggling.. you have a sissy star batter who needs a needle in his butt to hit well, and we have a real MAN (Howard) who says "Just get me to the plate, boys." Cannon, you must admit that your opinion of Howard last year was off.. but then again you were getting on him for being fat and saying how that wouldnt last, and he wins the WS and just goes into focus hyperdrive and loses 15 pounds and is in good shape. He's so freaking clutch though, its really amazing to watch.

Thats a good thing imo...its simply an east coast-west coast thing. West coast fans dont seem as passionate and freaky intense as us east coast fans. Philadelphia, NY, Boston...its just different. I went to a Dodger-Giant game in September a few years back in Dodger stadium, and the playoffs were very much on the line. I was amazed how my friend and I walked up to the ticket booth a 1/2 hour before the first pitch, bought tickets for about $25 that would have cost $100at Fenway (about 15-20 rows from the field, near 3rd base). Further amazed how we could talk as if we were in a library, even deep into the game, which went was finally decided in the bottom of the 9th by a walk off. I actually would prefer being able to go to a stadium like Dodger stadium instead of Fenway. I like the quiet and the cheap prices of seats. As a Red Sox fan, going to Fenway has become too much of a pain in the ass, and the experience isnt nearly as good as staying home watching the game on TV. The fans there are very rude, even towards fellow Sox fans. I hate loud, obnoxious people. Even if they are Red Sox fans.
