Scavs nobody is kicking you or punching you.. She isn't much no biggie it happens every friggin day. The half to Munnings is a slug and he is a Dynaformer. You have to be lucky and good. All you can do is get them to the track healthy and fit you can't make them fast

Congrats to Chuck and his crew for the job they have done with KNS this year. Well spotted and ready to race, while compiling an 8 2-2-2 record.

As far as Aldeb, i think she is entitled to a start on a dry fast track before we pass judgment. She was pointed for a start at Hoosier, but with issues there ended up with a turf try today

Spoke with Chuck who is on the 2 hour ride back from KD. Obviously an up and down afternoon...

Aldebutante, who broke well and had fine early position, simply refused to run when Aldo asked for real effort. And when he hit her a couple of times, she totally stopped trying. Chuck said she worked herself up pretty good pre-race, and Aldo added she really wasn't too interested warming up. She's a problem case. Very frustrating. We will finally get her back to dirt next out though. (The intent had been for this start to come at Hoosier on the main until the strangles quarantine scuttled it.) And Chuck is likely throwing the hood on her for focus.

As for KNS, what else is there to say? She was a maniac in the paddock and just couldn't wait to run. It took John Fahey, Chuck, TC and the pony to contain her. Chuck knew Sunday she was going to put in a good effort when she couldn't be kept on the ground. Funny that the winner was back on 7 days and Kickin on 5. (And, she lost the weight break when we lost Miss Rossi.)

Interesting experience, and another venue visited! Hope everyone enjoyed the upbeat finish and aren't too disappointed by the first half of the day's endeavors. More tonight from Chuck when he gets back to the Ville.

sorry aldeb didn't have a good day, but good news on kickin with yet another on the board finish. she's turned out to be a heck of a claim, and a lot of fun for the stable.

Default KNS

KNS continues to put in a solid effort almost every tme out. Not much more you can hope for and glad she picked up another decent check for her effort... Hope she can run again this year as she is a joy to watch.

Aldeb just needs to be on a dirt surface under the right circumstances.

Thanks to Steve, Chuck, and all involved for another great day at yet another track! Love these double headers, even if I have to watch them on the computer.

KNS has become Dee Tee's Iron Horse, runs her heart out every time.

Kickin has become quite a consistent horse lately! She's certainly proven she can step up beyond 5ks.

Isn't this the first time Aldeb didn't lift a hoof? I mean she hasn't set the track on fire in the past but this seemed a little uncharacteristic of her so maybe it had to do with the track. I wouldn't give up on her, especially before trying dirt.

Just wanted to give everyone an update on Oriana Rossi, who was supposed to ride KNS before a spill...

She is okay, out of the hospital and is very sore and bruised up. Somewhat similar to me (thank you, Missus Mayflower)...

Steve I bet she is back pacing in her stall as we type. I've never seen a more maniacal horse in my life. If she were human she'd be in the padded cell for sure.

She was pacing in her stall after the race... the only time she wasn't pacing is when they let her graze in the grassy area near the stable. Yes, she is a nut case, but she's our nut case.

Missus Mayflower decided to throw one of her famous temper tantrums and decided to back up quickly into the stall of Redboard King. When her butt hit the cross bar she decided to try to duck under (throwing her front end down) it pile driving Ryan on her head into the ground.....She can be a charmer some days

Guiness in the feed is probably cheaper and tastier! Or maybe we need to get MM a goat!

Jonathon! You are coming to visit?! YAY!!

Haha, Cherie gave a very good account of what happened. I landed hard on my head and shoulder...still can't rotate my shoulder or lift anything heavy...but I've been riding. Missy has been an angel since the incident...naturally. Haha.

Maybe KNS told her to do it. They are neighbors.
