The Beyer kind of has a built in fail-safe.
Since
all the dirt Mile races at GP are about 1.4 seconds slow, the Beyer kind of self adjusts to something like this since they compare them to those other miles. I'm sure they considered how much faster the FOY went than the MSW 2nd race in their figure and track variant.
