Kentucky has the most liberal drug rules of any venue.

They are not even testing for steroids at Gulfstream until April/May.
I bet McP will rarely race in NY.

Since you know it all...set me straight. Exactly what drugs does KY test for...all horses in all races or spot check? And exactly what meds are legal on race day in KY? And when did these new rules take effect?

No track or jurisdiction tests all horses in all races. The raceday rules in KY are virtually the same as the other major racing jurisdictions. These rules took effect 2 years ago. I know that there aren't that many outlets for horseracing information but the trades are fairly worthless.
