No thoughts, as I have very limited memory of that day. My last memory was being at my buddies house throwing down beers and vodka about 3-4 hours before the accident. For the most part, when I was drinking, I was a black out drinker. The paramedics had been unable to reach my parents. Only other thing I recall is the doctor at the hospital telling me he was giving me a shot in my ear. Basically the next 3 days I spent in ICU are pretty much a blur with little memory.

As far as injuries, I fractured my neck in 3 places and nearly severed my left ear. It took them almost 2 hours to stitch my ear back together. I still to this day have very little feeling in that ear, but thankfully my hearing was not affected.

I would have to think they told you how lucky you were..how did you escape getting crushed in that thing?
