Agree it was a very solid effort for KnS. The #1 is a grizzled veteran (10 wins for 160K). Could she get a lifetime top BSF based on the 2 1/2 length loss to the #1 while running virtually the same race as last time out(1:39 for a mile on the poly) when Stage Glitter recieved a 73 BSF. Can't believe she was 8-5 at one point against this field. Great job by T.C. and the gang getting her ready again. Once again Chuck demonstrates his keen eye for horses with this claim. 6 starts/ 1-2-1 for 20K as a Dee Tee runner. IMO this horse still has room to improve as she got to the races very late and seems to still be learning. Congrats to everyone involved with Dee Tee Stables and thanks again to Steve and Chuck for letting me tag along.

Ran very well considering the lack of pace. Had Stage Glitter and Cheyenne Spirit gone a second or so faster up front, I think she wins. Still ran on gamely despite having no chance to collar Stage Glitter. Props to Team Simon for yet another good run out of this chick.

Really? I saw a superior horse to what we have. No shame in that, just the reality.

Definite props again to the guys (and gals) giving the blood, sweat, and tears to this operation.

Maybe, but I think if they go :23 and :48, Kickin has a good shot to reel her in. Might just be seeing things through lime and royal-colored specs, but that's how I feel.

You may very well be right...however in a race .5 furlongs shorter than her last one they ran to 6f...2 and a half seconds slower than in her win. The mile split in her win was faster than this mile race. Stage Glitter may be the superior horse, but without question part of her superiority yesterday was dictated by the pace she was allowed to run. I think that is all people were trying to bring up here.

Another new experience today for me as the opportunity arose to play the race on ATR live.. Plus got to watch it with 6-7 on hand from the Barbecue!

Very square try by KNS Thursday. She lays it out each start. Hope all enjoyed. Thanks to those who attended in Chicago. More in partner Email, ChuckBlog and here soon.

what seems to be the best number of days between races for KNS, 50-60 ? or a bit shorter? the extra days off didn't seem to hurt her any.

in a mile and 1/16 races Arlington has been favoring front runners and thus drawing horses with 'early' run styles. Perhaps going that extra teenth would help her out fracton wise. Besides the scratches and resulting 5 horse field didn't help pacewise.

we just got in a few minutes ago. i told brian i felt like i'd been out on a boat all day. exhausted, but well worth every minute of the drive up and back.

we all had a blast, and hopefully the kids will remember this trip for a long time! can't wait to do it all again--whether i'll take extra kids along next time or not tho, i don't know!
