In my 30 years of watching races

BB is to most horses

what a geared bike is to a fixed gear bike.

When you ride geared, the gears do a good deal of the work for you; you can stop and start and coast with relative ease. Riding fixed gear, YOU do all the work, and stopping and starting takes a significant amount of energy; and you can't coast.

All the other stuff is irrelevant or banal.

Default Stop and Smell the Roses You B-- D--- S---

Man all you people who cant' appreciate a horse that comes along every 30 years does every thing asked of him with ease are one of the reason this sport is in trouble!
Give me a breake,if this colt wins at "Big Sandy"(Belmont)and is alowed to race at least once against Curlin and other older horses this year or next you have to put him in the top 15 to 20 horses all time!

As much as I enjoy TC season, a lot of the posts on this board in the past few days make me want it to go away.

Dutrow only shoots him up with steroids once a month. But that's just a small matter.

That's the way I'd put it, although the top two are interchangeable for me.

can i box it ?

Brown,Curlin,Barbaro,Bernardini

This is hard if you think about running styles. Barbaro was so game on the front end - it could take something out of Brown or vice versa.

you can't have Bernardini without Invasor!

Invasor/Bernardini/Curlin/Brown/Barbaro

I don't think its fair to put Barbaro on this list because of the unknowns, but I think Curlin would have eaten Berni alive and Curlin v. Invasor would be a serious horse race. Big Brown is more Berni than the others right now.

I guess brown has to win the Belmont by 40 lengths and somehow post a beyer of 120 to get any respect. Nobody has come close to him yet. He won the Derby out of the 20th post. Toyed with the Preakness yet still dumbass Beyer doesn't like him. The Triple Crown is so hard to win especially today. If he does it he is a super horse.

What do you mean....somehow?

I'm assuming that you do realize that once upon a time, really good horses somehow managed to run numbers in the 120s relatively often.
Easy Goer, for example, ran a 120 or better four times in his 3yo campaign.
