Well, our Derby winner cruised over a nondescript field (exception the utterly classy Eight Belles) in a race that started in 23:30, and slowed from there to a rather glacial 2:01:82, considering how fast the track was playing today.

Granted, he was never pressured and just did his own thing. But my gosh, the rest of them are indeed proving themselves terrible!

Glacial?

The horse is a beast, there was nothing "glacial" about his run today.

I do hope a horse knocks this guy off. It's gonna be tough tho.

I think Col John can do it. For sure his connections have much much more class than IEH or whatever they call themselves.

Not tough, impossible.

This is just a really bad crop with one stand out.

triple crown (barring injury) is a forgone conclusion. In saying that, it doesnt mean that he is better than any of the other horses that looked great winning the derby over the last couple of years only to come up short. Rather, it is more a reflection on how bad the rest of this crop is. There is no one running that is even close.
