I agree to all the above, except my initial reaction after viewing the race a couple of times is Darren moved a little early on the horse which might have been precipitated by being too far back in the early stages of the race. I didn't have the benefit of having access to a head on but he looked to be covering a bit of ground turning into the straight. Saying that he still probably wouldn't have caught the filly, she is a deserved winner. But it did look like Viva hung just a little inside the 200, when you consider those factors it makes sense. I'd have to watch it again and am much more the rooting type than the analytical type.....
